Goa is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful destinations I have ever visited and one of the best experiences I’ve had as a destination wedding photographer. I have no words to thank Sheelah and Dimitri for trusting me their memories and of course the cherry’s, who recommended me for this amazing wedding.
When you get to India everything catches your eye, I will recognize that I was in shock one whole day.
Its streets smell like curry, curcuma, cinnamon, coriander, cumin, ginger, tamarind… all those aromas mixed with cows and thousand motorcycles, all the people, the contrast, the colors… all that is what gives India that special thing, and makes the visit a true adventure.
It was long since I had this feeling, I remember when I visited New York for the first time, I walked down fifth avenue with my mouth open and everything surprised me, Goa reminded me of that same sensation. Discovering something totally new that catches you from minute one. There are some places that charge me with energy, it’s a strange feeling… as if stepping on them made me feel full of life.
We arrived at Goa before dawn, and I was already in love. The next day the Cherry’s invited me to go shopping at the market, they had to buy part of the decoration for the wedding. My head was about to explode with so much information! everything seemed incredible, and I couldn’t stop taking pictures.
That same afternoon we met Sheelah and Dimitri for a walk around Old Goa and ended up at Orzan beach, we had time to talk, to laugh, we even ran along the beach as the sun set down.
The next day we had time to stroll and discover corners of that beautiful city. again my eyes and my brain were as exited as a little kid.
I got to share this wedding with my good friend Lukas and it was a true pleasure to spend these days with him and have some Kingfisher’s
The wedding was held in a small hotel tucked away in the jungle, a dreamy place surrounded by greens and reds, and yellows… a color feast, another thing that I treasure about this country.
Thanks again Sheelah and Dimitri for all that you made me feel, and for giving me the opportunity of discovering this amazing country, I will always be grateful for this.
